Congratulations to John and Helen Molnar from The Cod’s Scallops for winning Best Fish and Chip Shop in the UK this year, they’ve only gone and bloody done it! They are well deserved winners of this special accolade. Just like the winners before them, they are a great asset to this industry and the new face of Fish & Chips!

Martyn & Nicki Else & team from Something Else Fishy for winning the Seasonal UK Seafood Award, the passion was clear for all to see, superb winners and we hope you enjoy a successful year off the back of this great win!

Eric Lambert & team from Mary Lamberts for winning Best Foodservice Operator, you work so hard on providing a broad range of quality foods and it was great to see you get the credit you deserve with this award.

Everyone from Trenchers (Spanish City) for winning Fish and Chip Restaurant of the Year it was great to hear you all cheer as a team and how pleased you were with the win, well deserved and we couldn’t imagine anyone more deserving.

Charlie Collins for winning the Drywite Young Fish Frier of the Year award, already running 2 Fish & Chips shops at such a young age, it was clear to see your drive and passion after such a huge win and well deserved for everything you’ve done and are doing so far in the industry.

Last but not least, Richard & Josette from Fish & Chips @ Weston Grove for winning 3 awards! On the back of winning Best Newcomer in 2019, you’ve come back even better than ever! Winning Field to Frier, Good Catch and 3^rd place prize for UK’s Best Fish and Chip Shop. The definition of drive and passion, hard work pays off we’re so pleased to see you reap the rewards!

A special mention goes to Tim, Kelly and the team from Krispies. You are fantastic ambassadors for our passionate industry and have been such worthy winners this last year. It was wonderful to watch your film and be able to hear all about your success and adventures after winning last year, you’re an inspiration to all and should be proud of everything you’ve accomplished. We can’t wait to see what else you get up to!

It was great to see you all there, catch up with some familiar faces and meet some new one’s too. It was a great atmosphere created by passionate industry that was clear for all to see.
