When the team at Chessington World of Adventures in Surrey wanted to revamp its fish and chip offering, they went to Florigo for their frying range.
As one of the most popular theme parks in the UK, Chessington has to ensure that it keeps their many customers happy with a variety of eateries so plans were made to have a total refit for its fish and chip restaurant, ‘Captain’s Fish and Chips’. The complete refurb with 72 covers opened in July before their busy summer season and included touchscreen pads for their customers to give instant feedback which so far has been consistently hitting the high 90%!
Florigo have received equally positive feedback from the Chessington team on their range: a 4 pan island range electric Florigo range was installed with basket pans and has proved to be a popular choice. Roberto Gutierrez-Salas, Head of Food and Beverage, has been singing the range’s praises: ‘What an amazing piece of kit you have produced for us! We are able to cope with volume, the unit is proving very popular and the quality of the end product is superb. I would gladly recommend it.’
The new refit means that the restaurant is now exceeding its target even on quiet days and feeding the hungry hordes of customers with good quality product!
